Today is Santa's List Day. Have you been good all year? Have you been Naughty? Or, have you been nice? Santa knows.

Santa's Elves have been everywhere, checking up on children all over the world, to see who has been naughty, and who has been nice. Thanks to the hard work of his elves, Santa Claus has two lists. The short list contains the names of a few children who have been naughty. A much longer list is filled with the names of children who have been good all year long.

You better watch out. You better not cry. You better not pout. Because Santa is making his list, checking it twice, and now that it is December, it is crunch time to get on Santa’s Nice list.

Santas' List Day

He sees you when you’re sleeping. He knows when you’re awake. He knows if you’ve been bad or good, so be good for goodness sake. But let’s take a step back for a moment. If he sees you when you are sleeping… that’s a little off-putting. I mean, sorry Santa, but I’d rather you not watch me while I sleep or keep track of where I am when I’m awake. Even as a child I didn’t fall for this one. It’s just not physically possible, for one, but also I am pretty sure Santa is not a creeper. Part of being on the “nice” list is being trustworthy enough to not require 24/7 surveillance to keep you in line.

Nevertheless, today is Santa’s List Day. A good day to step back and take a look at your year. Do you think that you would fall into the Naughty List or the Nice List? As Christmas approaches, we should be thinking about the way we live our lives, whether or not Santa is keeping an eye on us.

Which list are you on?

Kids.... make sure to be especially good around the holidays. That's when parents need children to be on their best behavior, as they are busy preparing for the holidays.

Happy Santa's List Day!!!!
